As a global leader in automotive electronics and lighting, FORVIA HELLA's development in China is closely tied to Shanghai, particularly to Pudong. In 1995, FORVIA HELLA established its electronics factory in Pudong, which, at that time, was at the forefront of China's reform and opening up. With its geographical advantages, market potential, innovative atmosphere, and a range of supportive policies, Pudong attracted FORVIA HELLA to view China as a key market for long-term investment and deep development.

In an exclusive interview with SFC reporter, Bai Binyi, Executive Vice President Business Group Electronics China at FORVIA HELLA and Member of the Executive Board Electronics of HELLA GmbH amp; Co. KGaA, noted that as Pudong continues to optimize its business environment, the company is gradually expanding its research, production, and sales operations there.

Bai emphasized that their Shanghai electronics factory has now become the largest, most comprehensive, and technologically advanced electronics factory within FORVIA HELLA globally, featuring widely adopted intelligent and automated production lines and robotic equipment.

"The next Pudong is still Pudong," Bai Binyi stressed, highlighting that Pudong's rapid development injects strong momentum into enterprises, while the growth of these companies also validates Pudong's open and innovative prospects and potential.
